The Czech Republic is a little country in the heart of Europe but it can certainly be considered a gem for photography enthusiasts interested in architecture, cityscape but also landscape photography. Our custom private photo tours are booked on demand only, so we can reflect your specific needs, photography style and create a unique tailor-made photographic experience for you.

Prague ranks amongst the most visited cities in Europe, more than 7 million visitors come to admire its historical architecture every year but the Czech Republic also has lots more to offer. A unique bone church in Kutná Hora, a picturesque small town sitting on a meander of Vltava river named Český Krumlov (UNESCO), rolling hills of South Moravia – just to name a few and show that the Czech Republic is a photo-rich destination.

For photographers, it’s can be a challenge to discover all of this on their own in a limited time they typically have. If you want to make a good use of your time in the Czech Republic, consider hiring a local photographer who will help you arrange a custom private photography experience of a lifetime.

Meet Jan

I am your fellow photographer. My name is Jan Miřacký. I was born and raised in Prague and have been running photography tours and workshops in Prague and some parts of the Czech Republic for years. Over time, I tutored 400+ clients with amazing satisfaction rates (see my reviews on TripAdvisor). You will be in good hands, trust me 🙂

Apart from that, I have rich experience running adventurous photography tours abroad for small groups of clients in places like Peru, Myanmar, Alaska, or Iceland. My main focus is landscape, cityscape, and travel photography, as you can see in my portfolio. I’m happy to share my secrets to better images with you.

Český Krumlov

A small, picturesque town on a meander of the Vltava River offers numerous stunning viewpoints featuring its typical houses, a bend of the river, and the local castle with a chateau.

Rolling hills of South Moravia
South Moravia

Sometimes called Moravian Tuscany, South Moravia gained popularity among the photography community for its rolling hills full of shapes, patterns, and lines.

St. Barbora Church in Kutna Hora
Kutná Hora

Kutná Hora is part of UNESCO Heritage, and photographers enjoy shooting in Sedlec Ossuary, which is decorated with 40,000 human bones, a beautiful spiral staircase, and church interiors.

Karlštejn Castle
Karlštejn Castle

This large Gothic castle from the 14th century is one of the most popular Czech castles. It offers a lovely vista of the castle hidden in the woods and takes you back in time.

Vltava river bend Máj
River Bend Vista Máj

This viewpoint provides a nice vista of the Vltava (Moldau) river meander close to Prague. It undeniably resembles the famous Horseshoe Bend in Arizona.

As each tour is custom, we send our offer individually to each client based on their requests. However, to give you an idea, pricing starts at 400 EUR per one-day tour for a single photographer. If you are more people, per person price drops significantly.
