Our photography day tour to Kutná Hora will take you to the best locations for photography in Kutná Hora. It’s an ideal one-day trip from Prague. If you only want to visit Sedlec Ossuary, see here.

The focus will be on composition, shooting in low-light and getting compelling shots in new unknown locations. Our photographer can help you to set a correct exposure and will be at your disposal for your photographic questions. You can learn a lot.

We start at about 9-10 am from Prague and return to Prague at about 5-6 pm. Kutná Hora is an only 80-minute drive from Prague.

Program

We will visit Sedlec Ossuary (Bone Church) which is unique for its decoration consisting of more than 40 000 different bones and skeletons. This church will make it to your list of the most unusual churches you have ever seen and possibly the strangest one, too. This one is also possible as a half-day photo tour.

Next stop will take us to Church of Madonna’s Ascension with an interesting interior, tall ceiling, large windows and famous Santini’s spiral staircase. This chuch is sometimes called the Church of Light and is one of UNESCO Heritage sites in Kutná Hora.

We will have a lunch break at a traditional Czech restaurant.

After lunch, we will walk through the historical city center also listed in UNESCO. We get to a viewpoint of the city and visit stunning Church of St. Barbara which is one of the most famous Gothic churches in Central Europe. We will focus more on its exterior which provides more photography opportunities. However, we will also photograph from the inside and finally will be able to use a tripod.

After we finish shooting, we head back for Prague.
